I purchased my boat during a cold winter and the very first project I undertook was to install a propane cabin heater. If my wife is cold she is not happy. If my wife is not happy... well, you get the idea. With a fan behind the heater warm air is circulated throughout the cabin and has really extended our cruising season. The cabintop chimney (or Charlie Noble) supplied with the Cozy Cabin heater was inadaquate, so I installed the nice heavy duty version shown. It can be easily removed when not needed or out at sea, and the opening covered with a plate. The handlebar protects one from inadvertantly grabbing the hot heater in a seaway.
