I replaced the original electrical panel with high quality Blue Seas Systems panels and rewired most of the boat. It was not particularly difficult, but was certainly a time consuming project. I hired an electrician to check my work to insure I hadn't made any major blunders. If I had it to do over again, I'd move the panels from the original placement under the companionway ladder to a spot outboard of the navigation station where rain or salt water would be far less likely to corrode the wiring and terminals.
