Here's some pictures of the completed deck prep which included all the wet balsa removed and sanding of the skins and remaining balsa. Also all the replacement balsa was precut from templates made on the boat. It was more labor intestive but because of the odd patterns it was easier to cut them this way without damaging them. I had odd shapes because if the orginal core was in good shape, and not delaminated, I left it, so as to not risk damaging the bottom laminate.
