Before bonding the skin and core back together, 
I dry fitted everything to make sure it fit. 
Where I had dug out core from between the skins, 
I found I had to trim the core,  and sand more off 
the underside of the top skin before I was 
able to slip to the core between the two skins.
Where the new core meets the bulwarks I rounded the bottom edge.
I also checked for hi spots and had to sand the bottom 
skin in a few places so the core would not stick up too much.
Also where the two skins meet needs to be as even as posible.
