Bronze Fittings
As with several other Tayana Owners, PTF did all our bronze chainplates, fittings, and kranze, including a custom backstay fitting for which I had to make & ship them a pattern.  Although I'm incredibly happy with the finished product, I wasn't real impressed with their customer service.  The project took twice as long as estimated, came in well over the estimated budget, and they're not very good about returning phone calls and e-mails.  They are however very good at smelting bronze, and as far as I can tell very few other companies still do that.  I believe Ralf Lewis on Steppenwolf had titanium chainplates fabricated.  Not sure about his backstay, but he might be able chime in with more info.
